Privacy policy
NodeShelf is a static website. There is no account system, no comment form, and no advertising network on this site.
What this site collects
Nothing that identifies you. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-preserving by design:
- It does not use cookies.
- It does not fingerprint your browser or device.
- It does not track you across other websites.
It reports aggregate figures only — page views, referrer domains, and country-level location. We use those to decide which articles to update.
What affiliate links do
When you click an affiliate link and leave this site, the destination — Amazon, or a software vendor — may set its own cookies to attribute a later purchase to us. That happens on their site under their privacy policy, not ours.
- Amazon Associates uses a 24-hour attribution window.
- Software affiliate programs typically use windows of 30 to 90 days.
We never receive your name, email address, payment details, or order contents. We see only aggregate commission reports from the programs.
To avoid this entirely, visit the retailer directly rather than through a link here.
Server logs
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes requests and may retain standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention, under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. We do not have access to per-visitor logs.
If you email us through the address on the contact page, we receive your message and your email address. We use them to reply and for nothing else. We do not add you to any mailing list — there is no mailing list.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
